What Math Webb Practice is
Practice is usually arranged by whatever was taught most recently, which is why a topic can be solid in March and gone by June. Adaptive Practice works the other way round: it keeps what a learner already knows secure, and brings in new work when the ideas underneath it are ready to carry it.
What it does today
- One question at a time. Cinema mode shows the question, a working pad for your own working and the answer box, and nothing else.
- Worked solutions after you try.A solution appears once you have answered, or when you ask for it — not before.
- A reason for the next question. Each one comes with a short note on why it was chosen.
- Include Challenge questions. Less typical question types that still build real skill, switched on by the student.
- Marks, the way the exam gives them. On exam-board programmes a question shows its marks and the kind of mark each step earns, where the question has them.
